'Too Cute To Spook'

Good morning all, hope you're all well.

A bit of an update on my wee pussy cat. It was a minor stroke and she is still wobbling over but she has improved lots.  Only thing is we coaxed her with fresh fish, chicken, tuna etc and now she won't eat anything else, little monkey!! She's also taken over the dog's bed which the dog isn't pleased about but Lucy the cat is the boss. Yesterday was quite funny. I fed  Lucy so Roxy saw her chance to regain her bed, but Lucy after having her fill just strolled straight up to the bed climbed over Roxy, wiggled herself in and laid down, pushing and pushing till Roxy had no room and no choice but to relinquish the bed again, so funny. I have a pic I'll put on later of them in the bed together.

Well I seem to have my weeks mixed up too cos I should have posted this on Friday and I thought it was next week...der!

So here it is another new Challenge over at
 Totally Papercrafts
It's the turn of our lovely Debs to host and her chosen theme is

'Too Cute To Spook'

I don't really like doing Halloween cards even though it's my birthday cos I never seem to have any clue what to do but I found out these stamps and dies. I decided on a criss cross card as I put the scary tree inside to pull out and 'scare' the cute devil pussy.

I'll add the details later today.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend. I'll be around to catch up with you all.
Hugs Sue Xx.

Another one of those weeks!!

Good morning to all hope you are all well.
A tad late posting this one, I've been trying to catch up.
Work has been a bit manic and finished late Thurs, Fri and Sat then my pussy cat who's nearly 19yrs old had a stroke, poor thing has lost her balance and she's staggering all over the place. The vet said she may improve and I do think she has a little but will tell over time. She does seem to be loving all the extra attention though, lots more cuddles and kisses.

Then my daughter had what we thought was a puncture in a back tyre that turned out to be two back tyres with a nail in each!!
It was only a few weeks ago someone keyed her car the full length from back to front. She's only had it on the road about three months.
Then she went to go out last night only to discover the front one flat.  It would seem now this is being done deliberate. Hubby's going to fit a camera and some security lighting to see if that may deter the beggars(did call them something stronger as you can imagine)

So onto my card. It's a new challenge over at LHOSM.
For the next two weeks we want to see
'Dots or Stripes'
We are being sponsored by the fabulous
Live and Love Crafts

And look what you can win

I chose dots. love dotty paper!

I'll have to add the details tomorrow as I seem to have misplaced them, so much for writing them down!!

Hope you all enjoy some crafting.
Catch ya all laters.

A posting at last!

Good morning,  all you lovely crafters, I've been MIA for a few days and have a lot of catching up to do.
One of the things that has taken up most of my time has been a sorting out of my craft room OMG did it need it!!
I started out by just putting things away but then began looking at the way they were on the shelves and as you do, decided to re-arrange so began the marathon of going through every box to see what was staying and what was going and which I needed to hand the most and what I only needed now and again and before I knew it, everything was on the floor AARRGGHH!!!!! looking far worse than before....... so it's taken me all my spare time this week  to do, no cards and no blogging but finally...... Ta Da...... finished!!  ha ha ha (hysterical laughter from a mad woman)

Gayle, It's all your fault, you are guilty as charged!!!!!

So this card is the one I should have posted last Friday for Totally Papercrafts, sorry teamies.
Better late than never.
It was the turn of our super lovely Cathy to host and she chose the theme of
Add Humour To Your Creation.
I knew I had these stamps, just had to find them!

Will have to add the details later.
Hope you all have a super day and I'll be around later to catch up with you all
Hugs Sue Xx

At Last.

Good evening all, hope you've all had a super weekend and some nice weather over the last few days.

My weekend didn't quite start out as expected.
My Daughter came home from work in agony. Something had spooked a pony she was leading and it jumped back, right onto her foot! Her toes were black and very swollen and the side of her foot was out of shape and we weren't sure if it was broken. So off to A & E for the evening.
Luckily after X-Rays, thank goodness it wasn't but there was a concern over circulation because of the swelling and because of her diabetes so it was several hours later, after strapping up she was allowed home around 12:30am.
Not much sleep that night as you can imagine!

Now I posted my card on the Totally Papercrafts challenge blog on Friday but have only just got round to posting on here (rotten migraines!!!)

Christmas Is Coming

Good morning all, hope you are well. A special hello to my new followers, so pleased you have decided to join me, it still feels good to see new faces appear on the list.

Well since I posted last I, or should I say we, have celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary.
We went out for a meal just Hubby, me and the girls. I'm not one for parties as I hate being the centre of attention so we had a quiet evening just hashing over memories of things that have happened in what seems like no time at all, and of loved ones no longer with us to celebrate.
Where does the time go to.
It was lovely and we did laugh plenty.

Onto my card. I saw the theme at Fashionista was Christmas and I love making Christmas cards, won't be long now eh!!
Doubled up with this one too as the theme with the Christmas Card Club was Anything Goes, so two for the price of one.

I've had this stamp soooo long and have never inked her up, shame on me, so here is her debut, so to speak and I enjoyed making the flowers with my new joy crafts dies, be using them a lot more me thinks.

'Summer Fun'

Hi everyone, hope the sun is still shining for you all. I 've not blogged so much this week as I've not felt great and the crafting has taken a back seat. I have managed my DT cards so as today is Friday it's a new challenge over at Totally Papercrafts It's the turn of our lovely Lisa to host and her chosen theme is

'Summer Fun'

Well, sort of dithered with this one cos I didn't know if I had anything to fit the bill. But looking in my stamps found this Magnolia background stamp that I had forgotten about and one of my older Tilda's and voila!! then added a few summery details and I kinda like the finished result.
I'd seen someone use the Frantage embossing powder as sand so added some and it really does the trick.

I remember a holiday when I was little doing just this, playing in the sand all day and gathering seashells, watching the sea disappear out of sight and the sun going down.
Oh to be young again and back on that beach with my mum!!

Only have a couple of pics cos naughty me didn't finish the inside in time so will add it later.

Recipe

Magnolia Tilda and background (not sure which collection from) coloured with distress inks. Added frantage for texture.
Papers by Brenda Pinnock and matted onto Bazzill Basics

Cottage cuts - Sea Weed Forest
Cheesecloth and netting - stash
Magnolia - Swirly butterfly
Martha Stewart - butterfly punch
Whimsy - tab 1 and sentiment by LOTV
Memories stamp - Kaiser craft, True Romance
Shells, stars etc from stash.
Pearls - Hobby Craft

Have a super day whatever you're doing and I'll catch up with you all later.

My First Bestie

Good morning all. Well the sun is shining today thank goodness. I think all the rain we've been missing made it's way to us yesterday, OMG, did it bounce down!!

I took my girls out for their tea and we were sat at a lovely table in the Conservatory eating a fab carvery when the roof started leaking, straight down my arm, back and onto my handbag, thank god it missed my tea, I had to shuffle up into another seat so my tea wouldn't get water logged.
We had to wait inside till it eased a little then make a run for it, not easy when you've just had a huge plate of food lol!

Should have posted this yesterday but ran out of time. I was asked by the lovely Rina at Fashionista if I would be a GDT.  Thank You hunnie. They have a super challenge this month of

'Wings'

Their fab sponsor is Sherri Baldy the creator of Besties

I've seen these little cuties and have never used one so I was looking forward to choosing one to use and I just couldn't resist her.

'Sweet Mary Lou'

I haven't used my copics for a while so I felt a bit of a novice when I started colouring in and I had a bit of a gaffe as the ink started to move a little, grrrr. I did try printing onto water colour paper so I could use my distress inks but the ink ran on that too, grrr.
Well if you don't look too close you won't see the mistakes lols!
