Hi everyone,
and a special hello to my new followers. Childlike I know, but I get really excited when I see the number change when someone else joins!
I'm sorry I haven't been around much this week I've had some family issues that have knocked me off balance somewhat and so my mind has been somewhere else, but like many of us we are sent these trials and have to carry on. It makes me really sad though when someone you have cared about and been kind to shows that it hasn't meant anything and It's really left a sour taste in my mouth.
Well , my youngest daughter flew to Zante on Thursday morning for a week. and as she is Diabetic and has Coeliac Disease I'm chewing my nails to the core. It's the first time she;s been away without the rest of the family and it was a bit tearful I can tell you. She put her arms around me so tight for a hug I nearly lost concsiousness, me saying, come on you'll be fine, go have a nice time, waving her off then closing the door and bawling my eyes out! God how soft am I. But she has been in touch, Hotel is fab, weather is fab, suntan coming on a treat but still missing mum awww, promised her a big hug when she gets home.
So that's enough waffle I have a couple of cards to post, first one I love though It' s the lovely image that should take the credit, and the second I'm not so keen on it just didn;t turn out the way I'd hoped.
See what you guys think.

Hi Sue thank you so much for your lovely comments whilst I was away .
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have been having a difficult time with your family issues, try not to think about it too much , because you are the kind one, the one who has cared for this person, and if they have shown that your kindness hasn't meant anything, then without a doubt ... they will soon realise what they had from you, when you are no longer around to care for them.
But on a lighter note ...how Fab that your daughter is having a lovely time, but I bet you wont stop worrying until she comes home, how great it is that she is blossoming .
What fabulous creations you have been making, since my last visit .
They are all fab and I like both of these cards , there are times when we all make something we are not happy with so don't down yourself , your cards are fabulous, with beautiful colouring on your images too.
Well done Sue Hugs Elaine
