Cake anyone?

Good morning to everyone hope you are all well.  Are we all sick of chocolate now?
 
My eldest daughter baked a cake for her sister the other day, it was a trial run as it isn't her birthday till the 4th but because she has coeliac disease and can't tolerate Gluten, she was making it using a Gluten Free recipe and wanted to make sure it would turn out ok cos it's not like cooking with ordinary flour I can tell you.
 
Boy did it turn out ok. It was soo yummy. A rich chocolate chip cake covered in butter cream.
 A trillion calories a slice!!!!
And we have to do it all over again......oh no (oh yes) hee hee.
This is the first cake she has EVER made so I think she did a fabulous job.

Recipe
 
Saturated Canary - Jules, coloured with promarkers and copics. Glitter on hair and dress is Gellyroll, Clear Star. Cut out using Spellbinders Ovals.
Papers - First Edition, Spring Drop and Spring Feast, stitched around edges.
Doily
Whimsy -  corner die and Tab 1 die.
Magnolia  - Sprawling Fern and cat dies.
Ribbon and pearls - stash
Sentiment - Whimsical Designs, Everyday Sentiments.
