Good morning all you lovely crafters, how is the weather where you are?
We in UK are waiting to see how the 'St Jude' storm will hit us in our part of the country. We are quite inland so will just have to wait and see. I have seen the reports this morning that the ferries have been cancelled and drivers alerted to the dangers of debris on roads.
Really hope it's not as bad as predicted and it doesn't cause any harm.
Well onto my card today.
It's a new Challenge over at
and the theme for the next two weeks will be
'Sparkle'
How fab is that, I just love to put sparkle on my cards, that's why I love Christmas Cards, you can really sparkle away!!
Now don't look too close today or you will spot my gaffe.... I had coloured my image and had all my bits assembled on my desk and disaster... aarrrggghhh. Hubby, bless him had brought me a cuppa and I picked it up to have a sip while I sat back to arrange in my head which to add tyo m card first and DRIP..... tea on Tilda's face.... OMG.. I was mortified, it takes me ages to colour them in...... the more I tried to rectify it the more it looked obvious.... so in the end I just left it to dry and so she has a pinker side to her cheek..... I've just pretended to myself that she must be colder on that side lol! Wonder if a scarf might cover It, ha ha. I just didn't have the time to start again, bet your're all thinking, yeah I have mishaps like that too.

ReplyDeleteFab card love the layout and image stunning card xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work Sue - yep I do that with ink though. I don't have tea on the table when I'm crafting any more - too many ruined projects but I still have an issue with getting inky finger prints, no matter what I do it always happens lol.
ReplyDeleteI remember the 1985 storms and how rough it was, we were in London then. So am hoping it doesn't hit as hard as they have warned us. Keep safe, warm and dry xx
This is gorgeous Sue beautiful shape and fab colouring! Oh lol I just finished colouring one and dropped my dark grey Copic on her arm!!! Why does it never happen at the beginning that's what I want to know!! Like you, I wasn't going to start again either. Susan xx
ReplyDeleteFantastic card and coloring again, Sue! And your "boo-boo" is barely noticeable. (When I screw up something I just color that portion on another stamped image & cut and paste it over--on this one, I would have just done her face again--that saves from doing the whole image, lol. And I have done this on several cards over the years!)
ReplyDeleteI love your fabulous design--fantastic, as always! Love all the die cuts and details you added! :^)
Hope your weather isn't too terrible and that you all stay safe. (Is it mean to mention that we are sunny with a high of 90 today?)
Hugs, Penny
