Lots of Layers at LHOSM

Hi all.
It's been a while since I posted as I lost all interest in anything just lately.
My Daughter has been in a car accident. Thankfully she was not seriously hurt though god knows how, the car she was in was a right off. She was taken to hospital in an Ambulance but after XRays was allowed to come home, suffering whiplash and bruising.
(It was her birthday a few days later too, poor kid.)
Then the day after my Husband got a call from his partner. He'd just arrived at work to find they'd been broken into and had everything taken, not even a spanner left. Thirty years worth of equipment gone. They'd smashed through the roof, smashed the alarms and trashed the place.
I've never seen my Husband so crestfallen. For two pins I think he'd have walked away and not gone back.  Trying to make lists of things missing was a headache. It took a whole day just to sort out the invoices that had been thrown everywhere. Boy did I swear!!
What a shame they didn't fall off the roof .
2014 is turning out to be a c...p year so far.

  3. I hope things soon improve for you, Sue! At least your daughter wasn't badly hurt although it's always a shock to be involved in an accident. Feel for you about the break in too. It makes you feel so angry and helpless that someone can just take what is yours...really hope they catch the perpetrator! It hasn't affected your creativity though..stunning card as always.
