Hello all you lovely crafters.
Hope you are all well.
I can't believe I'm actually posting a card. I've been trying to get back to my blog for some time but such a lot has happened since I was last on here.
I had an operation and it knocked me for six really. I expected to bounce straight back but don't know if it was an age thing but I just couldn't pick myself up and the downslide on my crafting began.
I seemed to lose all interest and everything just sat there gathering dust.
Then nice things began to happen.
I'm now the proud Nanna to two beautiful boys.
Both my Daughters have had babies and they are sooo gorgeous.
Finley is 20 months old now and Archie is 5 months old and as I look after the eldest one three to four days a week and work the rest I've found leisure time a challenge as I'm sure most of you Nanna's and Grandma's will relate to that, (we do come in handy ..... and cheap eh!!)
~
And here they are.
Mwah, Love em!!
Tomorrow is my youngest Daughter's birthday, she'll be 24. How the time has flown.
Don't care for this getting old 'malarky'
Well onto my card.
Still really love my Magnolia Tilda's.
This one is Tilda with Lace Pants.
I've stamped onto Canson Montval watercolour paper and coloured with Distress Inks and Spectrum Noir pencils, then cut out using Antique Frame from Sara's Shabby Chic range. The flourish and the Lace Doily are also from this range.
The card shape is Pin Dot Decorative Rectangles from Tattered Lace
Papers are Pretty Pastel Creations design pad.
Heart - Marianne die
Butterflies - Cheery Lynn
Ribbon, twine, pearls, stamens and flowers are from the Ribbon Girl.
That's it for now. Off to see if I still remember how to enter the challenges!! and have a look around to see how many familiar faces are still out there.
Enjoy the rest of your week .
Thank you so much for taking the time to enter our All About Magnolia Challenge with this beautiful creation! ♥
ReplyDeleteHope to see you next month again!

Very pretty indeed...but the kiddies steal the show.
ReplyDeleteI walk over to my grandids 4 daysa week and help get them up, dressed and fed before I walk them back to my house and dh then takes over and walks them to school.
Such a treasure to have this time with them.
Such cute Grandchildren Sue. Love your card, you haven't lost your touch. I am the same, I have lost my interest in card making since losing Tony. I have to go into hospital on the 18th for the first of three operations that I have to have done. I knew I had problems but couldn't get myself sorted as I couldn't leave Tony.
