First of 2013.

Hello mi lovlies, it feels strange not posting a DT card for Totally Papercrafts with it being Friday an all, but we have some fab new team members so we have been split into Team A, who are hosting the challenge for today and Team B (I is on Team B)
The theme for this week is 'Something New'
New Home, New Baby, New Job, New Year etc
So pop over and play along, with two wonderful sponsors offering  two fabulous  prizes .

Well today I saw something that I can honestly say I have never witnessed before.
My client and I just happened to be looking out of the window at work checking the weather when  a van tried to park opposite between two parked cars, now to us it looked like a tight fit but he tried all the same and yes he bumped the car behind...... and drove off   soo I got a pen and paper and jotted the number down...... whilst I was writing along came a car and attempted to get into the same space and..... yes he bumped the car behind.... not once but twice.... then whilst in reverse pushed the car behind with his bumper a few feet so his car would fit the spot.....OMG.. he even saw us watching and when I went out to ask what the H..l  he thought he was doing, denied touching it!!!! locked the door and went on his merry way. I couldn't see if there had been any damage to the car because he was still touching it and to be honest I didn't know which number to leave on the windscreen so left both...... gawd knows what they will make of it when they return. Unbelievable.
I did wonder if I'd been framed lol!!!

Have you made any New Year Resolutions???

One of my new years resolutions is to use up the things that I have in my craft room that so far haven't been used, like the mountain of papers that I stroke and put back or the many stamps I have bought and not inked up!!!! I have promised myself that I will put my craft room in order too, I have so many things that I have purchased over the years and now no longer use or haven't used that are taking up sooo much space and my working area is getting smaller and smaller and my hubby is getting worried  as to how much longer the ceiling will take the strain before I'm joining him in the bedroom below.

Sooo I had a little play with one of my fave Tilda's. I haven't made a card using her for quite a while and I'm sure she's been feeling neglected.

  1. Lovely card Sue, I love the colours used and she is such a sweet image. I don't have any Tilda stamps, something I must rectify this year.

I'm begining to think that the balance of awful, rude drivers are now outweighing the non rude. Such malicious behaviour. Kate x

  6. Hi Sue the same thing happened to me a few weeks back but I was on the receiving end! When I got back to my car there was a huge scrape down the entire side and a big dent! Luckily a kind person had seen it and left the car details for me and I contacted the police and they gave me the mans details! I am now waiting insurance as there was almost £800 of damage. Mind you I was hoping the police would arrest him and throw away the key or at least make him work in the salt mines lol! Anyway, your card is scrummy, I love the colour combo and Tilda looks adorable xx

  11. Absolutely stunning, I love the beautiful colour combination and those die cut leaves are fab. It's unbelievable the nerve some people have when they get behind the wheel of a car isn't it, there are far too many people out there who just shouldn't be driving at all
