Good morning mi lovlies, hope you are all well. I have posted this earlier than I should cos all being well I should be at the Hospital with my daughter. She has an endoscopy booked for first thing if all goes according to plan as it didn't last week.
The doctor rang us to say he had booked her the endoscopy for the 28th January. We waited for confirmation through the post and when it didn't arrive I rang the week before to see what was happening. I spoke to appointments, oh yes she was booked in for 10:30 and they would re-send the paperwork as if they had already, and it had been lost in the post AGAIN......not!!
My daughter booked the day off work and I cancelled my plans to drive her to and from the appointment.
Well papers arrived on the Saturday as she was due to go on the Monday morning and as she is Diabetic we needed to know what time she had to start fasting and how much Insulin she needed to take etc......and of course there was a form to fill in with relevant details.
My daughter got out the form to sign etc before we set off on the Monday morning and OMG!!!!!!
the date on the form said 4th February 8:15
Nothing like the original appointment
I rang immediately to be told she didn't have an appointment that morning it was next week and was I sure I had rung......... SCREAM!!!!
For God's Sake, she had fasted for hours only taken half her Insulin as per instructions lost a days pay and had worked herself up into a frenzy in preparation for it.
Oh sorry said the nurse without the name of the person you spoke to there's nothing we can do.
Well the Doctor booked it, said I , will his name do.....
Well apparantely not.... cos he has no right to book these things without going through his Secretary!!!!! And this has what to do with my daughter.......Does no-one care about what's been put in place for this appointment to happen..... Obviously not.... and why don't I calm down... she has one for next week..... UNBELIEVABLE!!!
So if we get there and there is no appointment, believe me I will commit murder.....
You will be reading about me in the Newspapers and I will be blogging from the pokey!!!!!
Fingers crossed........

Last week a letter arrived (thank god the dog didn't get to it, lol. I thought great, my appointment at long last NOT.
