Hi everyone, hope you are all well. We have had a little sunshine, still quite cold and the snow hasn't disappeared altogether but it's going the right way and we have been promised some warmer weather by the weekend so have to wait and see.
A couple of weeks ago my eldest Daughter that works at the Hospital applied for another job, still within the Hospital, just in another department (Physio) as she was ready for a change. She didn't think she'd have a chance of it as there were so many applicants, but she was shortlisted for an interview and a couple of days later she received a phone call to say she had been successful and was offered the post. We were so pleased for her and it was sooo nice to have some good news. She starts at the end of April and the first thing she said was ' Yeah... no Christmas Day, no Boxing Day, no New Year's day......... Can't wait for Christmas!!!
Quite a few years ago we were broken into and our house was trashed and it was one of the worst feelings to come home to, as those of you that have experienced it will know. Well the person responsible is back in our area and today one of my clients told me her next door neighbour was broken into yesterday, too much of a coincidence and being as she only lives down the road from us it makes us feel very uneasy. I couldn't type what I'm thinking about him!!! Just hope he's caught very quickly and put away again. He needs his ruddy hands chopping off!!!
My card is one I made a couple of months ago but didn't get round to posting but saw a challenge that said to use a background stamp so I thought it would be perfect. Again used one of my Tilda's that I've had a long time. See how good I'm being using my old stash..... ha ha.
Recipe
Magnolia Tilda, coloured with distress markers, stamped the bench and added the grasses, hanging leaves and the clouds.
Magnolia - fence, cloud and swirl dies and sentiment.
Go Kreate - frilly square 10
Papers - First Edition I think but not sure which one.
Marianne - heart LR0159
Whimsy - corner die
Cheery Lynn - Exotic butterfly small and Martha Stewart butterfly punch
Pearls and charm - stash
Flowers - WOC and others.
Chalenges
inky chicks - use an object/background stamp
crazy challenge - add a charm
pile it on - wooden(bench)
pink by design - thinking of you
divas by design - flowers
creative card crew - clouds (sentiment and on background)
cardmania - punches and or die cuts
lexis creations - punches and/or dies
papertake weekly bingo (punches, free, ribbon)
abc challenge - k for kraft
Have a super day whatever you're doing.
Catch ya laters.
Hugs Sue X

Sue what a gorgeous card love everything about it. I too find it a bit of a coincidence that this person moves back and already a house is broken into. Chopping off hands is too good for them they just make other people's lives a misery. Thinking of you. Love Alisonxx

ReplyDeleteAnd I hope that the felon is caught quickly! Goodness, what a bummer! I have had a couple of vehicles broken into, and I know even that makes you feel so vulnerable and angry. I would hate to have my home burglarized! Hope you keep safe!
